The pattern is wonderfully clear and detailed, making it easy to follow from start to finish. The video tutorial is my absolute favourite part - it gave me the confidence to try sewing a shirt for the first time. Having already made the crewneck top and front tie top, I knew your videos would guide me through every step, and this one didn’t disappoint. The instructions were so thorough that assembling the shirt felt like working on a beginner-friendly project.

The fit is great, I think it’s the perfect shirt! The sleeves are great and having the buttons in the cuffs is just wonderful. I like the fact that it’s a little bit long, because that gives me the option to tuck it in if I want to, although most of the time I like to wear the shirts over my pants or skirts. French and encased seams are the top notch! Already thinking on making another one in grey or in pink with stripes 💜

The fit is so good. I made a size 42 after your recommendation to size up for the oversized look. I originally set out to make the top for myself, but realized part way through that the material was not suited to myself and so switched to making it for my husband. (We have very similar measurements so it worked out well lol). All the pieces fit nicely together. The inside looks so good! I love when a garment looks as good on the inside as the outside, it shows quality and makes a handmade outfit stand out in a good way.

I loved the detailed instructions throughout the sewing process. The French seams are a wonderful finish. I really like the finish on the sleeves. This was my first time sewing sleeve openings this way & your explanation was great. It was quite simple to do! Overall, I think this is an excellent unisex shirt.

The interior finishes are beautifully thought-through and give a very professional look; I didn’t need a serger at all, which made the whole process simpler and cleaner. Seams lie flat and everything feels sturdy without bulky overlocking, so the shirt looks great inside and out.
