Unisex basic T-shirt – a perfect beginner's project
I just love sewing clothes that I actually wear a lot. That's my philosophy when creating all my patterns, but I would say that the T-shirt is definitely the winner! I now have at least four of them and often rotate between the four T-shirts. It's super loose, comfortable and has a nice cut. The unisex cut means the pattern works for both men and women :)

In general, you are quite free in the choice of fabric. That's the beauty of sewing your own garment. But since fabrics differ in strength, elasticity, stiffness, and many other properties, here are a few fabrics with which the garment works particularly well:

The pattern came together nicely, all the seams matched well and it was an easy sew. The neckband was a nice width. It was easy to adjust the pattern length due to the straight sides. The video showed every step very clearly, so even a beginner could sew the shirt with no problems.

Overall a great pattern! Love the nice and high neckline, fit exactly how I expected it to fit. I will definitely use the pattern again.

I will absolutely make this top again. I think the overall fit and style of it is 100% fitting the brief of something I would wear all the time and is an absolute wardrobe staple.
The fit is slightly oversized and boxy, which I absolutely love—it has that relaxed, modern look without feeling sloppy. The video instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. This is a great closet staple and will definitely be on repeat for me. It’s perfect on its own and also layers beautifully under a sweater in colder weather.
